Garmin Mapsource files are not directly supported. Instead, you'll need to save your data as GPX files.
Newer version of the MapSource software (free download) support exporting to GPX format
Step 1: Select File | Save As...
Step 2: Select GPS eXchange Format (*.gpx)
Step 3: Once you've exported your data as a GPX file, proceed to import the GPX file
